THE WORST INSURANCE EVER!
On 11 November 2024 I was in an accident and I submitted claim to iWYZE. I had been with iWYZE for 4 years and this was my 1st claim. The experience since has been a complete nightmare. I have been failed by every department. I was assigned an assessor who recklessly dealt with my case. He took me to the scene of the accident and asked that I retell how it happened despite me telling him that I do not recall as I had been battling fatigue from working night shift and my son being sick which left me sleep deprived for days. A few days after speaking to the assessor my case was escalated to his manager who called and asked that I reiterate my story. He then tells me that I told his assessor that I had 2 drinks the night of the accident. This is inaccurate as I do not drink due to alcohol being contraindicated for my chronic condition. This had been advised multiple times prior to the telecom with the manager. The 2 drinks comment was repeated multiple times during that call and I was told that my claim might be declined. I was also asked to submit a receipt of a wallet and bra I bought the morning of the accident. I did not understand what that had to do with the accident that happened that night but I obliged. No update was received until I followed up with the assessor a few days later and the feedback was that he contacted a witness and our stories do not match. The said witness was someone I do not know with a number I do not recognize. My car had been collected by the towing company arranged by iWYZE on the 20/11/2024 however I was told 5 days later that the towing company was trying to reach me and I am not answering my calls. I reverted to confirm the date and time my car was collected with a towing slip attachment. No feedback was received from iWYZE for a week until I escalated the case to the company CEO and management. The outcome of my claim was provided 24 hours later and I was provided with a settlement letter. The car was settled after and I was advised that the remaining amount will reflect in my account within 3-4 business days. This was on the 06/12/2024. Today I write this on the 17/12/2024 and no money was paid into my account and despite my multiple follow ups, I am sent from pillar to post! I called claims and was told the person who is supposed to assist with a POP is on leave. What about the rest of the team?! Do I wait for the person to return?!
