Stay Away from iWYZE or Old Mutual Car Insure

Stay Clear of Old Mutual Insure or iWyze!! Beware of this company. They have no regard for customer service, and are absolute bullies. They will dismiss you like you are nothing. Worst thing, they like to bad mouth their competitors. I wanted to politely cancel my car insurance policy with them as I had received a much better offer elsewhere. After waiting for over 10 minutes to speak to a cancellation agent, he first bad mouthed the competitor once he saw he could not beat their offer. When I told him I will continue to cancel anyway, he gave me an ultimatum. 1. I must first give them a 30days notice, or 2. I forfeit all my remaining pro-rata advance payments and my insurance cover is cancelled immediately, and no moment later! I explained to the agent that I want the cover to terminate at the end of February, which corresponds with the whole months cover that I paid for in the beginning of the month, or I get refunded the remain days. He bluntly rep**** that that is not their policy. No other insurer that I know of has such a ******** policy! I am just glad I cancelled my policy now, before experiencing trauma of trying to make a claim with them. All I read about them and iWyze here on Hellopeter are horror stories. STAY AWAY!
