*******: Iwyze Insurance: Claim Declined

I am sharing my extremely bad experience with this insurance company My vehicle Toyota RAV4 2017 model was involved in an accident in Kokstad. No other vehicles was involved in the accident. On that day my sister was driving the vehicle and after the incident she is struggling to gain back her memories

I put in a claim with Iwyze insurance on 1st March 2023. On Friday 24 March 2023, I received a call from the insurance assessor. He informed me that my sister was driving at 138km and the speed limit is on 100km. According to a witness, who assisted my sister at the scene of the accident, he claimed that she was driving at a normal speed as he was directly behind her.

The argument here is this morning , 27th March 2023, the assessor Nardus Roos contacted me again and was extremely rude arrogant and informed my that my claim was declined. I asked to speak to his manager since 24 March and to date, the manager Faizal Erentzen has not contacted me. This company even had the audacity to debit my account for this months insurance premium as well.

My question is, why do we pay insurance. It’s for the purpose of covering our vehicles in case of accidens, etc irrespective of whose fault the accident was. Comprehensive covers the 3rd party as well

I would never recommend this company at all. Please beware of these ********
