Rejected Claim

17/07/15 we woke to a break in. They took our tv, dvd player, playstation, radio,games and the camera.I reported this to the police immediately and we got a case number, subsequent to that I called the insurance and reported everything. Rassie Erasmus came on 21/07/15 to come and asses the situation. He asked for boxes and receipts of which we didn't have. Most of the thing we bought way back around 2009.He then sent the investigator fair enough. The 07/08/2015 my claim was rejected because of dishonesty, non visible entry, non- compliance and no proof of ownership. I honestly felt investigated for my own break and some of our statements are changed in the claim rejection. Hellopeter please find out if this is a **** of some sort or what is it. I asked him why didn't the assess my stuff after I took the insurance so that I wont be asked such he said \ ma'am we work on trust bases"clearly we trust them but they don't trust us What caught by suprise is my household and car insurance was cancelled the same day I reported the claim"
