RED FLAG!!!
RED FLAG!!! iWYZE cannot be trusted at any given time. Before taking out insurance with iWYZE, I read comments from this platform and noticed that most complaints were from a certain ethnic group and other group had compliments. On the 23 March 2023, there were floods in Port St. John's, my car was trapped in the pool due to the floods and the engine stopped. I reported the case with iWYZE and they took the car from my place to East London. I was then given a courtesy car for 30 days. The car that was given to me was not what we agreed on. I app**** for an LDV in case of the Amarok and any other small car for the CHR, but when the time came, I was given a small car and was told that it was what I was paying for. We went back to the recordings, they found that I was right with what I said but the days for the car to be in my possession were already over. My claim was rejected and was told to go fetch my car before I would be charged for storage. Went to East London-Auctionation, they said they do not know where my car was and was told that it was taken to Elegant Square without me knowing. I noticed that there were some loose cables, battery was flat as well as the tyres, the cover for the bonnet cable was missing and the handle for pulling the bonnet. When I told them about that no one knew about it. I had to hire a tow truck, took my car away and I asked Modupi who was dealing with my case about the towing of my vehicle and he said the costs will be mine. I reminded him that he said they were the ones to take my car back to my place and he denied that. I told him that I have the reference number for the call and he changed his statement saying they were going to pay for the truck. My car parts are still with them up to this hour. The reason for rejection was "Mechanical Failure." How can an engine not fail when it gets into water. By the time of the incident, I was in possession of a Mechanical warranty from Auto & General which meant that I would have taken my car anytime for repairs. They used their jargon to have my claim repudiated.
