R505/R1750 beat my current premium promotion

I have participated in the R505/R1750 beat my current premium promotion. unfortunately iWYZE is doing their best not to pay me after failing to beat my current premium. They are coming up with stories that I need to be with my current insurance for a minimum period of 12-months. I have sent them my insurance schedule that has my profile (claim history - claim free) before being in a client to my current insurer and a separate claim history from my current insurer. I have an unbroken comprehensive cover of over two-year. Since the insurance schedule reflects cumulative information from all the insurance companies that I have been with, why must I be penalised for switching insurance companies? Lets not forget that car insurance is a short-term insurance cover.

iWYZE if you cannot pay what you promise people on your ads, why should prospective clients trust you? I think you must leave this promotion to OUTsurance, at least they know what they are doing. They pay for these things within 3-days, no run-arounds given.

Hello Hluvukani,

It's unfortunate that we could not have offered you a saving at this point in time and that you do not qualify for the R505/R1750.

Please take note of the Terms and Condition:

You must be an active policyholder with another short-term insurer other than Old Mutual Insure.
  • The policyholder must have had uninterrupted insurance cover without any vehicle claims with the same insurer in the last 36 months.
  • The regular driver of the car must have had car insurance for at least the past 36 months.

Unfortunately, your current policy has not been active for more than 12 months, as per the campaign T's & C's we will only review if the client has been insured for more than 12 months with their current insurer (Without any break in cover).

Thank you for taking part in our campaign.

Regards,
The iWYZE Team
