Please help me! Someone! Anyone?
I needed medical aid gap cover so I went online to the iWYZE website and left my name and number, true to their promise a consultant called me back. She explained that that the cover for myself and immediate family would be 200 rand. I explained that I already have cover, I just need some for my mother who I’ve added to my medical aid. She explained that she would have to have her own policy and it would cost 280. I ask her about the claiming procedure and waiting periods. She explained, I’m happy and I give her my banking details and my mothers information and she promises to send me policy documents, I ask for the policy to be active 01,12,2017.
On the 27th of November, I get a deduction of R600. Three things wrong about this. Firstly, this isn’t the amount we agreed on, secondly- the first deduction was suppose to come through in December and lastly I had not received any policy documents. How can you deduct having not secured the contract?
I call and enquire around the 29th and I speak to a nice gentleman who says he doesn’t understand why the deduction went through, at that rate and at that time, he promised to call me back but Never did, after that conversation the policy documents mysteriously came through and had a premium of 600,
I call again on the 5th of December, moved from agent to agent until I spoke to a lady by the name of waseel. I tell her what I’ve explained below and she confirms that the right premium is 600 because of my mothers age. I dispute this and emphasize that the agreement with your agent was R280. I’m now doubting myself however the discussion was recorded and the conversation therein is binding. Can she please listen to the conversation and send me a copy of it as well. If I am I’m fact telling the truth and I was promised a premium of 280. I expect iWYZE to honour that commitment and if I misheard. I will honour mine.
Waseel promised to get back to me on Friday as Wednesday was their Christmas party. I’m fine with that (Christmas parties are important). I have heard nothing since.
Can this issue please be sorted as soon as possible.
