Pathetic Service from Iwyze Insurance.
Very Disappointed with Iwyze Insurance. We had a water pipe bursting in our kitchen on 07 November 2023 in the early hours of the morning, I called Iwyze later on in the morning, reported the incident, plumbers arrived at around 11:30am to repair the water pipe. Assessors from Digicall came for damage assessment on Friday 10 November 2023, whereby the Assesor took pictures and measurements of our damaged kitchen cupboards, dining room table with chairs, kitchen door and Builtin wooden bar. I called in to Iwyze numerous times to follow up on the claim, and on 16 November I was told by a claims consultant by die name of Zayna, that Simphiwe is now handling my claim, I explained to Zayna that I haven't heard anything from the insurance, she's said Simphiwe will be in contact with me shortly. On 21 November I called in again, spoke to another consultant by the name of Refilwe, she advised that Simphiwe will contact me and assist with the claim. Simphiwe called me around 2pm, told me that I need to complete a consent form and send it back to him, which I know was suppose to be sent to me on the day of incident or on the day the claim was lodged on the system. This tells me that Iwyze is still validating the claim and that they haven't made a decision yet to finlize my claim, which is totally pathetic to me. So how long do I have to wait for the claim to be resolved? Our kitchen door is not closing properly as it has water damage, not to mention the kitchen cupboards, which is worst. I said to Simphiwe I would like to see the damage report or the quotes to see what the assessor had claimed for? He said to me, I should first complete the consent form then we will go through the claim, so how long will it take for them to do history checks etc? Which to me is pathetic as I registered the claim on 07 November, and to date still nothing from Iwyze, 10 working days later and still nothing. I'm super disappointed in their service.
