Old Mutual iWyze is a ****. Claim nr ***

If I could, I’d give a rating of zero. On the 3rd week of September 2022 my daughter had an accident using my car and the claim has not been finalised until today. There is no communication from Old Mutual iWyze, no phone calls and no emails, if I do not call to follow up then I do not get any updates. The car was initially towed to an assessment center and I was told to wait for the assessment, I waited for the maximum number of days that I was told and I did not get any update. I called iWyze last week only to be told by the call center agent that my car had been written off, when I went to check at the assessment center, my car was not there, the insurance had towed my car to another city which is more than 200 km away without informing me. I called again to find out what was going on, I asked to speak to a supervisor that was extremely rude, she told me that when I signed the policy contract over to the insurance I was signing my car over to them, they could do whatever they wanted with the car and move it wherever they pleased and they did not have any obligation to inform. She further said that the claim was under investigation and they had moved the car to their own storage facility but when I google the place it is an auction house and when I call them they say that they sell cars that have been written off by insurances. I’ve been given names of different people handling my claim and their email addresses and they refuse to give me a direct. I have been sending emails and I am not getting any responses. As of Monday this week myself and my daughter can no longer get through to the insurance and we suspect that our numbers have been blocked because we are able to get through from other people’s numbers. It’s been a whole month and there is still no progress with whether the claim is approved or not and the only thing that has saved me is that I waited a week before taking the courtesy car. Old Mutual iWyze is extremely shady and unreliable and I wouldn’t advise anyone to insure their car with them or you will definitely regret it. I have no clue what they are doing to my car in that auction house and I’m being sent from pillar to post. The thing that is causing my family and I the most anxiety is that the car has been moved more than 200km away and we cannot go and check up on the car. The best thing that Old Mutual iWyze can don for me right now is to BRING BACK MY CAR and let me know whether it will get fixed or not!
