Old mutual Iwyze insurance

1.As per this letter they are saying that 48kms was speeding and is against the law n ******* however as per the law the leagal speed in a residential area is 60kms

2.As per this letter they are saying that the legal tyre thread is 1.6mm however as per the law it is 1mm They calling this a unroadworthy vehicle for 1tyre that was 0.84mm wich as per Delano Chame the right rear tyre and accordind to him when a vehicle is turning to the left takes all of the strain and pressure so its evident that this particular tyre in concern was the tyre that took all the strain as the spun out of control and that is where the tyre has probably lost its thread i dont feel this is a good enough reason to reject such a claim as there is no ******* action on my part or the vehicle it was raining the night before roads are slippery when wet accidents happen we where within the legal requirements and Iwyze is trying to shy away from there obligation to pay for the repairs and/or pay for the vehicle

Prior to me furnishing Iwyze with the tracking report i had looked into the legal speed limit in a residetial area and the legal tyre thread

In South Africa the legal limit for tyre tread is 1mm. The tyres used came from four different tyre manufacturers, and the worn tyres were skimmed to around 1.6mm, the legal limit in Europe.
