OLD MUTUAL IWYZE GAP ****

Stay far, far away from Old Mutual Iwyze GAP. They claim to pay up to 500% of shortfalls - in hospital - when they sell you their GAP cover. Like a carrot. After all was said and done, they paid a little more than R3000 of the more than R26000 that my mom had to pay for the procedures. PARMED didnt even pay 50%. The person who 'helped' me also spoke to me as if I'm an idiot when she explained that for dental procedures there is only R5000 per annum available. So where is the 500 or 100 or whatever percent? If i hadnt been here to assist my 80 year old mom, she would not have received one cent. I will cancel our funeral policies as well as this **** GAP of yours old mutual. I suppose the 500% goes to ridiculous NHS because you have to ***** us to pay for the non payers.
