Old Mutual Gap Cover Insure

I took out Gap cover in 2019, I specifically asked the sales person if pregnancy is covered, and he said yes, everything is covered. This year my wife gave birth in May, I phoned the gap cover in March 2021 to find out the procedure of claims etc, and they told me they don’t cover pregnancy anymore, the policy has changed in 2021. The policy change was sent in a email to me, I never looked at it as it was sent in December! But my point remains, if I had to read it and cancel my policy, and move to a different gap cover, my wife wouldn’t have been covered, as most gap covers has a waiting period of 9 months. My wife fell pregnant before the policy was changed, so how can you guys still not pay me out! Basically you guys have been taking my money every month for 3 years! I would like you to at least pay a portion of my claims back, or pay me my premiums back!
