I had a car insurance policy with iWYZE. My policy number was ********** 178. I was involved in an accident in March 2015 and I registered a claim with them, which they approved and paid. A few months I received legal documents from the court because the other party was suing me for damages to her car. I then contacted iWYZE about this as I was covered for third party liabilities. After numerous correspondence including sending the legal documents to them, I was told not to panic and that that matter was handed over to their lawyers and I would be contacted if anything further was required from me. After that I received no further communication from iWYZE, so I assumed the matter was resolved. Last month it came to my attention that there is a judgement against me regarding this matter to the amount of approximately R 33 500, for damages. I have then emailed iWYZE regarding this matter and have received no response from them at all. The person I had liaised with when this matter arose in 2016 was from 3rd party recoveries, I was referred to her by a person from the claims department at IWYZE (Mutual and Federal). To this day, I have yet to receive any kind of response from iWYZE regarding this. The reason for email and not calling them is so there is an audit trail of my enquiries. Thank you

Just an update on the progress of resolving the complaint.
There has been a degree of progress in resolving the matter, at least that is how it comes across from the communications I have had with iWyze.
However the judgement has not cleared but it has been indicated that the plaintiff accepted settlement and that iWyze remitted said settlement.
I have been enquiring as to when this whole process will be concluded, but I have yet to receive a conclusive date. I have been trying to contact the iWyze person I have been liaising with for the past few weeks and there has been no response at all from her.
It has been 4 months since I lodged this query/complaint but nothing has changed as the judgement still reflects on my credit record. The only blemish I have on my credit record is this judgement and it is a huge impediment in my life. I cannot obtain any kind of financing because of it, it is also affecting my career as I cannot look for new employment opportunities especially in my industry with a judgement on my record. I have made iWyze aware of this, but here we are in the same position I was when I lodged the complaint.
