No reimbur*****t received. No feedback
I am insured with iWyze for my car, house & household contents. On 30 March 2019, I was in an accident. It took iWyze a finalise to resolve my claim. They thereafter charged me 2 months worth of car premiums, amounting to R718.36. After a few back and forth emails with Paseka Lekale and Tertia Msiza, management agreed to reimburse me for the months of April & May in which I no longer required car insurance, but iWyze felt fit to charge me. I then received an email notification advising a refund of R85.40 will be credited to my account. How does R85.40 equate to R718.36? I have been sending emails but the responses I am getting makes reference to discounts. My policy was also updated due to my car being deleted from the policy, yet a consultant did not call me to advice of the changes or different premiums. Am i just to accept the new rate? What if I can get a more affordable premium elsewhere? Where is my right as a consumer to accept or decline the new premium? Why am I not getting a response or proper feedback?
This experience with iWyze has really dropped my confidence in them.
I still have not received a response regarding my reimbur*****t.
Who do I escalate this matter to?
The insurance Ombudsman?
