NO feedback and ************** because my things and I am old (and slow)!!!
A claim was registered for a break-in. Initially it took some time to get the statement due to being elderly, disabled and needing the SAPS to come to my house. IWyze initially placed the claim on hold as it took time for me to take proper stock on what was ******, with the initial avadavat was not very specific as it was made within 48 hours. Then after SEVERAL calls and emails, and after they said they would come back to me on the status of the claim, (per telephone, which also took several requests for them to just call me back). The assessor then stated the burden of ownership is on me the policy holder, which for big items like MV, TV's and recently big ticket purchase items is totally reasonable. Some of the furniture in my house was restored and are older than I am. How will I proof their value or existance if something happens to them?? The items ****** was from the garage some of the tools dragged out in the box and bags though an opening where anything between 5years- 45years old, but in perfect working condition. We talking garage tools, spanners, hammers, nuts and bolts, grinders, work boots etc. No one logically how would ANYONE on this earth have records of 40 plus years ago. THEN they came back and asked me to provide of list of items NOT ******. SO I asked them to clarify and explained this will take a while. I am still waiting for that reply (a month ago). There are items stored in this 3 car garage, with only one vehicle in it, in cupboards in boxes and in some places to the roof. O and they want replacement values for everything. It’s a indirect clause and stalling techniques used to not attend to a claim or give feedback. Every time I would enquire by email, the same documents from the police docs etc would be requested as per the first request. They should not accept household content insurance payments or be more specific on what they would like to insure, this their way to trick people and ***** their money, to not be explicitly clear what they cover and don’t. Even if they are not to proceed with the claim or decline they can at least get back to me in writing and inform me?? It will take immense effort but I will be changing insurer after this of which my car makes up 95% of the payment to another insurer. Its day light ******* and absolutely ZERO service. They can do this to 2,0000,000 people each month with R200 per insured person and pocket R400million, just to NOT bother to provide a service ad communicate properly. I am at my wits end., please help!
