In June I asked iWyze why my car insurance had not decreased in line with iWyze's adverti*****t of 1 of the 7 reasons to get insured with IWYZE which states \Automatic Annual Premium Adjustments aligned to the depreciating value of your vehicle."They offered me a decrease from R479.01 to R399.24. I was unhappy that I had to phone to get this discount and that it was not automatically app**** as advertised.

Then in July I received a 14 % increase in my premium from R399.24 to R455.72. I received no communication that it was going to increase. I queried the increase and was told that they can only decrease it to R420 odd because the premium calculation for the new year had already been done when I phoned in mid June and was based on the R479.01 premium I had been paying before June.

I feel strongly that my premium shouldn't be based on what I was paying the previous year but it should be based on my risk profile and the replacement value of my vehicle.

I wrote to their complaints department 5 days ago and have received no communication besides acknowledgement of complaint."""
