Never insure a sports car with Old Mutual Insure/ iWyze
I am disappointed in Old Mutual Insure/iWyze. I have my vehicle insured with them and I logged an incident I had with my vehicle where by I damaged my vehicle back bumper and Exhaust.
Logged a claim two weeks ago and they assessed my vehicle with the pictures they requested and came back with a decision that my repairs are less than the R10k access amount I have signed up for.
Took my vehicle to an approved repair centre and was given a price of R30k before stripping and was advised not to drive my vehicle as the damage is severe.
I have been following up on email and calls with the insurance and they are not giving me feedback since they closed my claim.
Word of advise, “Never insure a sports car with Old Mutual Insure/ iWyze”. They have no sense of urgency and customer service.
