IWYZE point blank refused to pay
Good day

Last year December (05-12-2014) I lodged a claim for my mirror and TV which both broke when the mirror fell and broke also breaking my LED Samsung TV which also fell.

I was obviously quite distraught by this but was somewhat calm in that I had (or rather thought I had cover as I was paying premiums monthly with iWyze) cover, so my stuff was going to be replaced.

I got to work contacted iWyze and a lady by the name of Faith Ngcobo (iiWyze employee) started and unbelievable chain of weird events. Wanted photos which I must say was not a procedure I was aware I had to follow as I HAD NEVER HAD A WELCOME PACK DETAILING THE CLAIMING PROCEDURE and have NEVER HAD TO CLAIM FROM AN INSURANCE COMPANY EVER IN MY LIFE BEFORE!!! This was also verified and admitted by Faith in our telecoms.
However, the only photo I had was on a whatsapp message where I was sending a friend showing him how close the mirror missed me as it shattered! Unfortunately that photo did not show the shattered TV. Unknowingly my then helper disposed of the mirror and broken TV as I was on my way to work, while cleaning. Faith wanted to pay for the mirror but not the TV and I left the policy!
