IWYZE_OLD MUTUAL ..they charge exorbitant excess if you are a new customer..ridiculous

Iwyze insurance underwrite by OLD Mutual is the worst kind of short term insurance you could ever get.Insurances operate on a month to month basis but not Iwyze they charged me an excess amount that exceed the cost of my claim.I joined them in July 2024 for a buliding insurance,and middle August 2024 my geyser burst.i put through a claim, my excess with them is 3k it when I claimed they start to tell me about additional excess cos I haven't been with them for over 6 month, how cos you are a short term insurance that operate on month to month basis.I enquired with other insurance companies and they said they don't charge such especially on such a small claim like geyser.I learned a hard lesson, I would recommend them to my worst enemy..yoh
