Iwyze Insurance let me down when i needed them the most

On 2 January 2026, i experienced mechanical issues with my car in Kimberly while on my way to Sun City from Cape Town and had my car towed to the Ford Dealership. Once there they gave me bad news and advised me not to drive the car any further, which now meant that i am stranded. Upon calling my Insurance, Iwyze, i was sent from pillar to post all while my cellphone battery was busy dying and found absolutely no relief. All they offered me was to tow my car to the nearest repair center, which must be within a limited 60km. Something i had already done...

Iwyze had no consideration for me who is now stranded with limited battery power, and who needs to get to my destination but now stranded in Kimberly with no place to stay and with a car that needed major repairs, which could not happen immediately as parts would have to be ordered from the factory, not to mention it being a Friday, was never going to happen anytime soon. I shudder to think what would have happened had i run into trouble in an area where it is maybe 150km away from the nearest town. With my cellphone battery busy dying and Iwyze's *********** staff putting me on hold or putting me through to another department and then that department dropping my call or promising to call back and then never actually calling back.

I would advise people to rather go with another insurance as Iwyze will leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere and only offer to tow your car to the nearest service center for repairs. They will leave you stranded and not have a care in the world... Your cellphone battery can be dying and they will either keep you on hold, promise to call back and then not do so...

I am currently searching around for another insurance who would help their client when they are stranded in another town far from home and needing to get to their destination or to get home.

With Iwyze Insurance, i found out the hard way, they are not the insurance company that would go above and beyond to help you as their client and i will soon be parting ways with them...

What i expected from them is to provide me with car hire or a lift of some sort to atleast get me to my destination safely but that is not what i got from Iwyze Insurance.

Now the search is on for an insurance who would come through for me when i am in a time of need... Iwyze is not that insurance...

This experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and it is an experience that i will never forget...

I will never forget how Iwyze let me down...
