IWYZE INSURANCE, ARE ****MERS, THEY ARE BRUTAL AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CLIENTS
I will never forget the brutality that was shown by this company toward me. If anyone is considering being insured by this company, I think they should think twice or take it at their own risk. This company will find every trick in book to reject your claim even if you have been paying the premiums without fail and they are not even ashamed of themselves.
My claim was rejected on basis of “material change in risk-defaults” I find this so unacceptable because I did disclose to them when I tool a policy that I am currently under debt review, and I am paying my creditors monthly under debt review arrangement. As per my ITC credit report I do not have any defaults/judgements under my name except for the fact that I am under debt review. I am paying my debts monthly at the agreed amounts between them and my debt counsellors and I never defaulted on that. Their assessor Modupi Mogano even asked me for proof that I am paying these accounts monthly, which I did provide although I did not see any relevance I still did, but still that was disregarded, why was I asked for proof and explanation if still my claim was going to be rejected? When I queried about why was I asked for a proof if my claim was still going to be rejected, Ana they change the story and told me something about the threshold of my debts that it should not exceed R 100 000.
Why was I not made aware of that threshold before giving me the policy? I was also told about material change in risk as at 01 July 2023, that my debts exceeded R 100 000 and I should have informed them. But nothing changed in July 2023 I have never taken any new credit after I was placed under debt review and even after I took the policy, in fact the money that I am owing my creditors now is far less than the amount I was owing when I took your policy.
They should have picked it up then that I was above their threshold when they went to make an enquiry on my credit report at first and at least deny me the policy there and there but no they decided to withhold that crucial information from me so that they can use it against me when I claim. In fact they did an enquiry twice on my credit report last year when I took the policy and this year July on the so-called date when the threshold of R 100 000 was exceeded. Their threshold R 100 000 was already exceeded when I took the policy it did not only change in July 2023 but they didn’t inform me about it but decided to give me a policy and kept on taking the premiums. Worse I did declare my debt review status which I thought sums up everything. Till today I am asking myself where is the relevance between the total amount that I am owing my creditors and the insurance cover. Just because my total debts are around R 110 000 they then used the R 100 000 threshold which I was not told about even in the beginning and I believe that if my debts were R 60 000 they were going say their threshold is R50 000. These people are *********s, they abuse their customers even on their social media page people are complaining about them.
These people are so brutal I give them that, even the tone on the objection letter, the author of that letter is so full of themselves even to say, “your claim will not be entertained.
