iWYZE ******* selling technique

I don't know if this is true of ALL iWyze Old Mutual insurance sales agents, but I am outraged at the attempt by Thabiso Nkagto (as he identified himself) to sell me an insurance policy ... and then, AFTERWARDS add on a whole bunch of other conditions; including an additional R7500 excess if my car does not have a tracker.

This guy wasted about 20min of my time, gathering a lot of my personal information (which of course they'll use for their own marketing efforts, if not sell it on, as well) , and then offered me comprehensive insurance for about R720 per month. I rejected it straight away, because my current insurance is only R520; but as soon as I reject it, he says I qualifiy for a discount and can have the comprehensive insurance for R570 ... which I then accept. SO, then he takes my account number and confirms a date so start the cover ... and then suddenly informs of a whole bunch of other (additional) conditions, which includes excess he didn't divulge BEFORE getting my agreement.

OUTRAGEOUS! ... there is no objective value in these policies. Insurance companies will just take the most they can get out of you and then invent whatever conditions they need, to escape paying out when you have to claim.
