IWYZE FAILED TO GIVE ME A SIMPLE RELEASE LETTER

On November 24 2022 I had an accident where a car skipped a stop street and bumped my car. So as we all know in a situation like that we normally call your insurance for help they sent a tow truck and the tow truck took the car to the panel beaters. So a few days later I lodged a claim to iwyze and was told to wait for an assessment to be done on the car. No one called or emailed me a statement on how the assessment turned I called around the 14th of December only to find out that the panel beaters were closing for holiday. I found that out by me physically going to the panelbeaters and was told by the security guards that they would only open on the 9th on January. So still no feedback or any communication from IWYZE. We went on to the new year on the 5th of January 2023 I called to get feedback and was told by a consultant that they are awaiting for the finance department to open so they can lodge a claim. Later that day I received a message stating that I will get an amount of R4900 from IWYZE and I called to ask what the money is for and that is when a consultant told me that they will not fix the car and that I should pay R70000 to get it fixed! (mind you I am the one who called, had I not called who was going to tell me all this?) she suggested that I take the car from the panel beaters as I currently don't have that kind of money lying around. On Monday I called the panel beaters and they required a release letter from the insurance I have been calling since Monday the 9th January to request that letter today is the 12th still no letter when I call I'm being told to give them time..... If I have to pay for storage fees it means I have to pay for a problem that was created by IWYZE for refusing to email a release letter to the panelbeaters, everyday is money by the panel beaters. I feel very disrespected and very disappointed as I have 2 cars covered by IWYZE and I pay monthly and have never missed a payment.
