Iwyze advert

Hi

Can we write a review without giving a rating? Some companies do not deserve even a single start.

On 22 October this year, I responded to an Iwyze adverti*****t about getting a insuring cars. The advert stated that if Iwyze could not better my current premium, they would pay me R1,705. So I took them up on their offer.

I sent all the required document and soon enough, one of their consultants called and we went through a series of questions. It turned out that Iwyze's premium was much higher than my current premiun, which means that had to pay the promised R1,705, subject to terms and conditions of course.

The following day I received a call from another Iwyze consultant, claiming Iwyze would not pay out because my current insurance is not a comprehensive cover. When I challenged him on that, he kept going for further clarification from his superiors and would call again and tell me pay out was declined.

At issue is that Iwyze claims that according to my insurance's terms. a claim would not be entertained if I had exceeded a certain number of kilometres a month. This, according to Iwyze's consultant, means my cover is not comprehensive enough to comply with their terms and conditions to pay out. This is patently incorrect and I have verified this. My current cover is perfectly comprehensive and Iwyze must do the honourable thing and pay out.

Thank you.
