IWYZE *** - SHAME ON YOU

I am absolutely disgusted with the manner in which Iwyze handles third party claims.

I was involved in am accident on Saturday 9th February 2019. Long story short, my vehicle was stationery at a robot, and a man (not the policy holder or insured) driving a Hilux bakkie was turning right, but did not wait for a Ford Figo to cross the ROBOT intersection. The driver of the Ford Figo had right of way as the robot had just turned Amber as he approached the robot. The driver of the Toyota Hilux did not take caution, and as a result collided with the Ford Figo and then bumped into my stationery vehicle.

I immediately ensured my kids were okay, and stepped out of my vehicle to gather the necessary information.

The driver of the Toyota Hilux was initially reluctant to exchange information. He did not want me to take a picture of his license or license disk, I eventually got a police officer to encourage him to do so. The driver of the Ford vehicle, provided me with his information with no hassles.

Furthermore, I proceeded to advise the driver of the Toyota Hilux that I was going to be claiming from him as he is responsible for this incident. I then asked him to provide me with his insurance details to proceed. He advised that he ead insured with Outsurance, so I called to advise them of the incident, but they did not pick up his details. A few minutes later, and elderly gentleman arrived at the scene, and I was told that he is the owner of the vehicle. I then told him that I was going to claim from him and he proceeded to advise that he was insured with Iwyze. I called Iywze and was advised that I must call in on Monday.

I gathered all the information required as quickly as I could, considering everything else going on in my life as a mom and an Entrepreneur setting up a lab.

I can't even begin to describe my experience with the individuals from the claims department handling my case.

I literally did much of their work for them!! This includes putting them in touch with the victim who was driving the Ford Figo. With all their resources, they claimed that they could not get hold of the victim for 2 weeks. Within hours of being told so, I provided them with his email and number!!

Iwyze now refutes my claim because my story differs from their client, but their client was not even there, and the man driving the car, was uncooperative from the onset.

I know what I saw whilst I was in my stationery vehicle, and I knew immediately who was liable for the damages of my vehicle, the driver was aware of this too, as well as the owner of the vehicle when he did eventually arrive. I made it crystal clear to them that I was claiming from them, as the vehicle and whomever was driving it is responsible.

Alot of information I am asking for, I am being told is privileged information, yet it directly impacts me and the next steps I need to take.

Iwyze claims I have no witnesses who were not in my car to back my version. Yet I am asking who was present to back the driver's version.

Iwyze does not want to advise whether or not they have honored their client's claim.

Iwyze does not want to provide me with the assessment of my vehicle which was done by Digitek.

Iwyze does not want to provide me with a detailed version of events and sketch by THE DRIVER and THE CLIENT/POLICY HOLDER. This is ultimately what contributed towards their decision to refute.

Iwyze must be exposed for the UNFAIR prejudice, and distorted processes.
