*********** customer service

I registered two claims with iwyze on was a dent on the car passenger side and the 2nd Claim was for water bottle that feeds the radiator, the bracket that holds the radiator and the bottom. I hit a pot hole that cause the crack on the water bottle and bent the bracket that holds the radiator and also broke the bottom cover.

when I registered the claims Salome from iwyze told me that since the door incident happened last year i need to pay R3950 excess for the claim and the second claim where i hit a pot hole I have to pay R3000 excess. I told her to go ahead and register the claim as i had budgeted for it.

I was told that their assessor would call me to take the car in for assessment and renew it called me on the 10 to bring in the car on the 11th for assessment.

I was told to leave my car as they need to remove the front bumper to see the extend of the damage. I left received a quote from re-new it on the 12th for the door claim and iwyze called me on the 13th telling me that the claim was R6439.82 must they go ahead with the repairs and I gave them the go ahead. Salome told me that the second claim was given to Modupi

Later same day I received a call from Modupi, he told that there was additional excess that I needed to pay of R4500 since it was a single car incident.Out of anger I asked him if he would have preferred me to bump another car after i have hit the pot hole. I told him to go listen to the recording were Salome told me that I have to pay R3000 excess for the pothole accident and R3950 the door accident. I also told him to listen to the recording were I was querying about my premium and the excess on my insurance. Were the consultant told me that they had dropped my excess and they also lowered my premium and everything is still the same except for the 2x changes.

After a long argument with Modupi, i asked him to call me later so that I can calm my self. He phoned me again and told that the pothole claim was R6439.82 which falls within the excess that I need to pay. I told him the quote I received from re-new it was way above what he is telling me and he said he was going to send an email to renew to go head and I have to pay the R6439.82 instead of R7500 that he wanted me to pay for the excess. I told him that I was going to cancel the claim of the door as I didn't budget for that. I had budgeted R3000 and R3950. I phoned iwyze and cancelled the for the door claim as I have been driving my car with the dented door and I cant drive my car with a loose radiator.

On the 18th I phoned iwyze to tell them its now a week that I don't have my car and I have not received any updates on the status of the repairs renew it called me to say they got the go ahead on friday the 14th and they will give me a lead time on the repairs.

Today the 19th I received a call from Renew the both my claims are above what i was told by iwyze and my car is still sitting not being fixed . The repairs would be - for the door is R21886.28 and after deduction its approximately R9000 the front damage is R43929.85 after deduction its R19592.31

From the 11th till today my car s sitting at the panel beaters. I need to go to Cape town to visit my family and I need my car for that.
