I have been advised by numerous people not to go with Old mutual, but chose to ignore the advise. I deeply regret it now. I must say all the agents I've dealt with has been awesome. If I could rate them I'd rate the agents a 10. The company I'd rate a 3.

I have been with Iwyze for a little over two years. Life policy. The last 3 months has been financially drawing which forced me to reverser the debit order thrice. Beginning of October I made arrangements with account to dbl debit my account for the next 4 months to recover those outstanding premiums. Starting end November. My debit order was recorded for the 1st of each month which has always been the 28th. When the 28 th came, my debit order did not go off as I expected it to. So yesterday I received a message saying my policy has been canceled due to non payment. Long story short, I called in and was asked to send through my bank statement which I did. On there it clearly shows that I had sufficient funds in my account fir the debit order on the 28th. Yet no attempt was made to debit this account. On the 29th however when there was no funds in there after my other debit orders went off on the 28th , it ofcourser notified me of the failed debit order . Now my policy has been canceled and I was told no one will be able to give me a different outcome. Why did the debit order not go off on the agreed upon date or on any other date there after? On the afternoon of the 29th I transfered one back into my account thinking it would go off as it did not on the 28th. At no fault of mine I may add. 2 years of paying R589 gone. I'm at a much better place now but two months ago I couldn't even afford that R589 but I was desperate to leave something behind for my kids when I'm no longer there. My heart won't reconcile with my head all this money wasted. I am so saddened by Iwyze. Yesterday I was very angry, but now I'm just sad. I have received a quote from a different institution at a bigger monthly premium. What can I do? I have to see to my kids after I'm gone.
