I canceled my insurance on the 20th of December 2023

I canceled my insurance on the 20th of December 2023. They mentioned that my debit order is scheduled to go off earlier than the normal date the 31st of every month. My debit order then went off on the 22nd of December 2023. I then called Old Mutual Insure, and they told me that they will process my refund and that I must wait 7 to 10 day for a refund to reflect. On the 3rd of January 2024, I called to check the process of my refund. The refund was never processed, but a consultant then had it approved by a Manager on duty. He then told me that it will take 24hrs to reflect. I called today the 8th of January 2024 and was told there is delays in the refund payments because of the Holidays. I feel that it's not my fault with regards to delays with their refunds.
