Horrible Service All Round

My car was ****** on the 25th of May 2023 from Netcare Olivedale Hospital, I submitted a claim on the same day. Since then I have been subject to poor treatment from the manager reviewing my claim. He sent me an email indicating that they would be willing to settle my outstanding debt with the bank, which I refused as my car was insured at retail value and I have been paying premiums on that basis and therefore expect to have my car replaced at it's retail value. Whether in the form of another car or cash, it was at their discretion.

I have submitted the following documents and evidence since the theft of my car:

1. Copy of ID and Driver Licence 2. Copy of HP Agreement (from Finance House) 3. Settlement letter (from Finance House) 4. Service records for the vehicle. 5. Proof of Toyota Security Upgrade Done on vehicle. 6. 3 Months Bank Statements, across all active bank accounts and credit accounts 7. Contact name and Number for your Aunt 8. Detailed trip log from the tracking company for the day before the incident, day of the incident and day after the incident 9. Activation report from the tracking company (for activation of unit) 10. Copy of A1 statement (client can get it from the Investigating Officer) 11. Letter of Employment 12. CCTV footage from the hospital 13. Letter from my employer indicating preferential pricing is a staff benefit, strictly. 14. Evaluating my aunt’s ability to drive despite being a valid license-holder since 2010. 15. Both sets of keys have been collected

And I am told they do not have enough information to finalise my claim as they have questions surrounding the integrity of my credit application and it's approval thereof; that I should submit my payslip for review. I've refused to give them my payslip, on the basis that it is confidential and has no casual link to my claim. I've instead provided them with the contact information of the PIC at the bank who processed my application to assist them, I even cc'd the PIC on the email to make it easier.

They have shown no interest in communicating with PIC, who would be able to assist them in validating my credit application. I've sent an email to Mr Adriaan Odendaal, manager reviewing my claim, requesting that my claim be finalised or I be referred to someone who will be able to finalise my claim. I have received no response and sent an email requesting an update and have received no response neither.

I believe that they delay finalising claims hoping to either find something to reject a claim from a client or frustrate a client long enough that the client accepts whatever offer to give, regardless of the cover option. Also as a client, you can't go to the ombudsman until they have rejected your claim so they keep delaying finalising your claim with ad hoc document request which as client you are required to do the running around on their behalf to source those documents.

This has been a very frustrating process as monthly debit orders for both my vehicle loan and insurance policy still go off and in the interim have had to incur additional travel costs to ensure I am at work.

I would not recommend anyone to use iWyze, they seem to be more invested in *****ing their clients over than doing what they you pay them to do. I'm also of the opinion that they profile their clients and make offers on those basis.
