Greedy Iwyz Insurance Company.

On the 18th of November I got into an accident in Rustenburg on the R510 road. I was hit by a couple driving a bakkie from Thabazimbi to Rustenburg. According to their story they had stopped for the baby to pee while on their way to hospital so they never got a chance to wait and sort things out. We exchanged numbers and all. The lady's name is Chantelle.

I was driving behind them on the left lane, realizing they had stopped and I had to turn I indicated to the right unfortunately that's when they took off and didn't check their mirror. They hit me on the left back side. Leaving my door and some part of the body damaged. Their left wheels were over the yellow line towards the pavement.

Later their story changed that they were driving at a very slow pace. They contacted their insurance and gave them my number as they agreed they were wrong. The insurance agreed to pay the damages and contacted me for all the necessary documents. I submitted everything and according to the lady they called her back and accepted the claim and was ready to pay.

However they never got in contact with me. After weeks and weeks I called them and the case was with Teboho Mkambule who Later told me it is with Bantu. Weeks later again I called and was told they denying the claim. The lady (Chantelle) then told me they canceled the insurance because they were not fixing their own car's damage but only mine and that happened in February. This should show who was wrong on the road...

So Iwyz after Chantelle canceled their insurance with them they decided not to pay anymore though they had told her and sent her documents that they were paying. Had they not canceled they would pay...? I refuse to pay for the damages alone and I also feel that as the couple had gone to all the lengths to show they were wrong they should at least meet me half way but all they could say is I can take the matter further with their insurance company as they had agreed to pay.
