Don't think about lodging a third party claim, you'll NEVER be helped
A couple of weeks ago I was involved in a vehicle collision. I (vehicle C) was stationary and parked next to vehicle B in front of shops next to a carriageway when vehicle A's front left tyre allegedly burst while driving on said carriageway and the driver lost control and slammed right into both of us. The impact caused damage to my left rear wheel and bodywork. Both mechanics I took my car to stated that the wheel drum, axle and bearing need to be replaced. I work 12,5 from where I live and have been driving every day to and from with my damaged car which is my only vehicle. Honestly, I can not even begin to describe how incredibly stressful it is. I've been battling severe tension headaches, horrible nightmares and have to fork out money which I do not have for councelling sessions because I get startled by the slightest of bangs. In addition to that, the guilty party is extremely uncooperative abd only provided me with his insurance's name which is iWyze and the claim number. I have been sending emails to them everyday in which I ask what needs to be done next, when my car will be fixed etc. but have not yet received a response back. I phoned twice, but got hung up because "they didn't understand what I was saying". What exactly must I do now? Pay for the damage myself which I clearly am not to blame nor have the finances for, or keep on driving with a car that is litterally hanging by a thread and just hope it doesn't cause more damage or break down? Can not believe people, especially insurance companies that are meant to have other's interests at heart, just couldn't care less...
