Deducted more than the monthly premium

I woke up this morning with my car insurance payment going off with almost R1000 more than the premium is.

I called into iWYZE being quite angry and ready to argue with anyone. Gugu answered and first tried to find out what happened while I was on the line and after 2 minutes asked if she could call me back by the end of today so that she can follow up and get back to me and not waste my time on the phone.

I was expecting a call back by 5PM. In less than an hour, she got back to me apologising for the error and stating that they can't find why it increased, but it has been reset to what it was and I would be credited for the amount.

What happened was I was looking at getting a new car, and called them to get a quote on the new car. To cover me, I needed an additional excess for underwriting (due to my age). There was a mix up and the excess was added on my current vehicle and not the vehicle I was going to get.

But Gugu was absolutely great, very quick, very helpful and pretty much the exact reason why I will be with iWYZE for any vehicles I get.
