Claim rejection.

Car insurance claim rejection. 1. They saying the car was traveling at 95km/h in a 60km/h zone. They visited the accident scene 13 weeks after the accident and only saw the car after at least 14 weeks, I am failing to understand how they managed to calculate this speed. NB. There tracker couldn’t provide the trip sheet due to some technical problems. The road had no brake markings in it the morning after the accident, which brings the question of was the car accelerating or decelerating when I had the accident.

2. The car was hit on the passenger’s rear side hence the accident but they are saying it was due to tired burst and that I misinterpreted the facts. They did not provide evidence to prove that it was a single driver accident as they are saying.

They failed to collect the car from the storage after it was towed as promised, they only collected it after 12 weeks and now I am liable for the storage costs to the value of R45000.

They have given me 72 hours to pay this amount so that I can collect the car and avoid further storage charges.

Lastly the claim took too long to resolve. Poor communication from staff, always I had to call in
