Being charged for insurance I did not need & not being reimbursed
Good day,
Can someone from iWyze please provide more clarity on how clients are charged for car insurance?
i had an accident on 30 March, which means from 30 March or if you like 31 March, I no longer required insurance.
Please note I was debited for insurance for April & May 2019 and I was advised I will only be refunded for 1 month worth of premiums. I do not believe that is fair towards me at all & I am not satisfied with the outcome. That's an entire's month worth of cover that iWyze is charging me for that I did not need. How can I be charged for something I am unable to use?
That's technically *****ing from me. When I took out the insurance, it was explained to me that insurance premiums are charged a month in advance. I didn't have a car for the entire month of April, yet I must be charged for an asset I didn't have? Again that's *******.
If the car was written off on 4 April (& I technically did not have a car since 30 March) and if iWyze wants to be petty, why not charge me pro-rata for those days?
Looking forward to a response.
