Been paying for Gap cover since 2015 . Never claimed at all. Had a baby a month ago and received all these medical bills. Refer it to gap cover and my claim is rejected. Thato Sibeko who is my claim manager requested doctors bills along with medical claim statements. Documents were sent to him but he was too busy to read my email. When I called this fool and asked for a status on my claim he said to me that he didn’t read my email. An email that was sent 4hours ago. I put through a claim for 4 seperate doctors bills and Thato sibeko totally omitted the 4 th. doctors bill where there was a short payment of over R5000. He decided to only reject my claim after I started complaining about his ****ty service. So maybe he believes he owns the company because I feel like his decision was based on the fact that I would lodge a complaint. He totally ignored the fact that I sent in all required documents. Maybe if his reading skills were up to par he wouldn’t have a problem find my emails with attachments that was requested

As with everything else in S A . You pay and you are ******. You have people sitting in positions they evidently shouldn’t be in. Maybe he should be paid 5000 rands short this month for his incompetence then he will know what it feels like to have to take out money’s to pay for things your “gap” cover was supposed to cover. Paying these premiums of R250 over the last 9 years was an absolute waste of time .

I will advise any1 who wants to listen to not do business with these people.

They offer you a service that they can’t provide. They just take your money .
