bad decision making

I had a claim for a windscreen to be replaced. First, it was rejected causing me to replace the windscreen at my own expense. Today I'm informed that the claim has been authorized and approved. In my line of work, I could not sit around and wait for them to make a decision, my time is my money, and sitting around waiting for almost 2 weeks cost me money.
