Another third party claimer who is disgusted by Iwyze's ****** tactics. The biggest nightmare you can come across on the South African roads is an Iwyze client - they will avoid to pay you as a third party! *****s!
I was in an accident on the 30th January 2020 to claim as a third party from Iwyze insurance that is part of Old Mutual and waited weeks to receive any feedback from the person who bumped into my car (Andiswa). After many follow ups, she advised that her insurance Iwyze has been the one delaying and even sent me an SMS indicating that an assessor would be allocated to assess the damage. Ofcourse I never heard from the assessor but instead was emailed by a Nonhlanhla Mnganga who has been nothing but an absolute nightmare to deal with! Oh my goodness! As a third party who was the one inconvenienced by THEIR client, I have been given a laundry list to provide, I suspect as a way to discourage me from claiming. I have been asked to provide the following:
1. Clear 360˚Photographs in Colour of the damaged vehicle 2. Photo of odometer reading. 3. Photo of license disc. 4. Photo of number plate. 5. 1 quotation as the maximum requirement is 2. 6. A copy of the vehicle registration certificate proving ownership, RC1 Form (not the license disc renewal paper). 7. A copy of your ID and Driver’s License. 8. A No claim letter from your insurance company confirming no claim was lodged for this incident or an affidavit of no insurance should you not be insured. 9. A detailed sketch and description as per your version of events. i am still sitting with out a car and my phone calls is just put through from one person to another.
Surely as the person who has been inconvenienced by their client by bumping into my car for no apparent reason, the least they should be doing is referring me to an assessor to make the process simpler. Instead, everyday I live the nightmare of dealing with this Nonhlanhla person who only ever asks me to go and do something as if I caused the accident and as if I have nothing better to do with my time but do as they instruct . The laziness of this insurance company is not the only problem I have. They also do not seem to be prepared to take responsibility for third party claims nor answer questions to third party claimers. When you ask this Nonhlanhla person questions, she avoids answering the questions and just keeps asking you to do this and that if you want the claim oaid out or to even resend the same information. For two weeks straight, she has been sending me from pillar to post, which I cannot stomach for another minute. Infact, at this point, I would have rather been bumped into by a taxi driver who atleast I would have known straight away is not insured and will not pay than to be lead on by what seemed to be a decent person, only to be mislead. If Iwyze has allocated an assessor, what happened to this assessor they no longer refer to - or is this only what they do for their own clients? I pray I never encounter any incident with any Iwyze client, because I tell you, even hell is better. What a horrible insurance company with zero ethics! How on earth do you make it the third party's responsibility to spend all their time chasing after you and doing all the work for you after YOUR client bumps into their car. Shame on you. All you have shown yourself to be is a group of ****** who will do anything to avoid paying out money. I have seen another third party claimer who is also been sent from pillar to post complaining here on Hellopeter - the question is how many third party claims are you avoiding to pay out with your ridiculous requirements? If other insurers are able to refer third parties to assessors, what is preventing you to do the same, if its not to try and make it impossible for them to claim form you. ******!
