AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH iWYZE

My first claim as a policy holder since August 2016, my house was broken into. I therefore laid a complain on 3 March 2017 and to date no communication has been received. I supp**** all the information requested to myself that I had to even go to the police station to request A1 statement as the policy holder. Few things I found to be frustrating is the level of interaction from an employee to a client (policy holder) I had to make contacts with the contact centre-the person responsible was not forthcoming instead I was treated as a nuisance. My claim was validated probably the first week of March and today, 3 April 2017, I contacted the guy responsible for my claim: S Ndaba only to be told that my claim was validated and would be paid on an average which they worked on to be less than contents I lost... let alone my house contents that were lost are above this amount even the TV set I lost was above the amount, the sneakers I lost were double the amount, heater and the broken door. Whats worse I wanted to move my car insurance to them too :-( this is rather worrysome to incidents I may come across to in future if on the first few items i lost they do this!!!

Dear Aijer
Kindly note that an attempt has been made to contact you regarding your complaint.
We note that you were under insured for your household contents and the average of the loss was settled.
It is recommended that you increase the sum insured for your Household contents it have cover for all your items at your risk address.
