Studying at IU

I am currently living in Spain and the IU still offers me the opportunity to study in German and live in a different country. I really enjoy arranging my work myself, so I don't have any pre-determined semester breaks or exam periods. As a result, I don't have that much stress and can teach myself the learning content in my own way. In addition, compared to my friends, I notice that I am definitely better looked after because there are many more opportunities for help and contact persons. I can also choose the exam dates and thus choose the best time for me. This way I can travel more freely and have it easier to follow my hobbies and study another language.

Just because you can study online and split up the work doesn't mean it's much easier to study. It is essential to be able to organize your time and work consistently. Personally, I am an organized person and at the beginning of a module I make a schedule and stick to it. Otherwise you won't make it far in your studies.
