PE - Great!!! - George - So-so

This is a bit of a mixed review. I had something shipped from PE to Sedgefield - via George, which is the local hub. The service from the PE branch (particularly Sharon Somerville) was absolutely outstanding - everything happened as it was meant to despite the fact that the system is not really set up to handle shipments where the recipient pays. It took a little over 12 hours for my parcel to get from PE to George. The came George - the parcel was received and loaded for delivery the day it arrived. Then it went back to the depot for the evening (Friday). On Monday evening it was 'floor checked', whatever that may mean. On Tuesday at around midday the parcel was delivered but it was never marked on the tracking as being loaded for delivery nor was I notified by text that it was out for delivery. So it all ended well, just a little late and a little confusing on the way. By the way, the contact email address on the website (I think it is 'info@couriersonline') does not work but a polite phone call works really well.
