Machine unable to read possible winning ticket

I bought a ticket at a Pick and Pay ,unfortunately the printer skipped a line. Now I cant claim my winnings because the machine cant read the ticked and according to the Pick and Pay rep the National Lottery helpline said they could not help me with anything
