Lotto false dreams

I was having a chat this morning with my colleagues checking lottery results . Yesterday's Lotto was 48 milion estimated jackpot ans the roll over amount was 47.4 million . The upcoming jackpot is guaranteed at R50 million. What I am noticing is that the operator is playing mind games . Lotto sales suggests that over 3 million is made per draw and when jackpots is higher over 4 million is being made. Just like in this case sales have been higher . Ithuba decided to play mind games with players by making a guaranteed jackpot while they know very well that ticket sales for upcoming draw plus the roll over amount will obviously be higher that 50 million. I can assure everyone that the upcoming jackpot on Saturday won't be won this is just a marketing strategy to make more sales. If the next jackpot was guaranteed at 55 million at least it will make sense. Pity People are suffering and they think this Lotto will change their lives while a marketing guru from the operator is playing mind games and creating a non existence dream to millions of south Africans. The current operator has been with us for longer and raised a lot of money for NLC that's why there is no transparency at all. When you call they will tell you someone will call you later and no one will call you . This is good for business at Ithuba but South Africa you need to wake up .

Good afternoon Shaun M Thank you so much for your interest in the National Lottery. The estimated jackpots are based on the estimated sales for each draw. Whilst we endeavor to predict jackpots as accurately as possible, we also don’t want to over-estimate jackpots as we aim to be as accurate as possible. The National Lottery always pays out the highest jackpot available. If the jackpot exceeds the estimated or guaranteed amount, the higher amount is paid out or rolled over to the next draw. Should you require further assistance please send an email to the ***
