Lotto app still not working and sensitive data requested when re-installing
Android app still not working on samsung phone. I tried to install on another samsung phone but the message... THIS APP CAN REQUEST SENSITIVE DATA. THIS CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF IDENTITY THEFT OR FINANCIAL *****.
What has changed ? Are the new lottery operators putting us at (*****) risk ?
Fix the app AND reduce the lotto numbers to its original as it gives us less probability to win but makes more money for the operators. IS THIS LEGAL ?

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your concerns. We truly appreciate you taking the time to inform us about the challenges you’ve experienced with the Android app.
Firstly, please rest assured that your feedback has been escalated to our technical team for immediate attention. A member of our Customer Care team will contact you directly to assist and guide you through the process.
Regarding the installation message you received — “This app can request sensitive data” — this notification may appear because the National Lottery Android app is provided as an APK file, not through the Google Play Store. Google’s security system automatically displays caution messages for APK downloads, even when the file is safe and compliant. This is a standard Android warning and does not mean your data is at risk.
We also want to reassure you that the National Lottery app complies fully with all security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Your information remains protected at all times, and there has been no change that increases any security risk.
On your question about lotto number matrices:
The current LOTTO format has been approved by the regulator and ensures balanced gameplay, fair odds, and sustainable prize payouts. There has been no recent change to the matrix.
We understand your frustration and appreciate your loyalty as a National Lottery participant. Please allow our Customer Care representative to contact you shortly to resolve the app issue directly.
Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention.
