Ithuba denying customers thier right to play till the last minutes
We are allowed to play powerball on Fridays and Tuesdays till 20:30 but I tried playing last week Friday from 20:20 until 20:30 on my bank app but it did not allow me, and it was not for the first time I was inconvienced. I spoke to several gamblers who said ithuba does that all the time.a

All banks in South Africa has a cut-off time up to 5 mins before the set time of 20:30 with the games on draw nights.
All banks in South Africa has a cut-off time up to 5 mins before the set time of 20:30 with the games on draw nights.
The reason for that is to ensure that all tickets bought for the specific draw make it in time back to the bank client or player. It is always good practice not to wait until the last minute before sales close, just in case the player has Wi-Fi or connectivity issues and could miss the opportunity to partake in the draw. Other products than the draw game for the day are available up until 23:55.
