Duplicate numbers on quick-pick
I purchased a quick-pick lotto ticket for Friday’s Powerball via the Standard Bank App. There are duplicate numbers in some of the lines. Here is the SMS I Received:
Standard Bank: Played R30 PowerBall for 1 draw. Date 2020-01-31. A:2 3 5 11 22 9 B:***2 C:4 6 8 11 50 11 D:***1 E:5 8 13 26 27 5 F:***1 ***. Please call ***for queries I made contact with iThuba National Lottery and the cannot help me – they need a 20 digit reference number starting with 07. I was directed to Standard Bank.
I made contact with Standard Bank and they cannot assist. I was directed back to iThuba.
Can you please explain how duplicate numbers appear in a quick-pick?

Thank you for your enquiry.
Kindly note Standard Bank uses a distinct operating platform from the ITHUBA National Lottery –consequently, we do not have access of the games player’s action on the banking platform. We understand the gravity of this matter, hence we have escalated to Standard Bank on your behalf.
We sincerely apologize for the dilemma you have endured. Please note you will be contacted by Standard Bank for further assistance with your PowerBall purchase.
