Exam Results

I am writing to share my sister’s experience with Ithemba Training College, where she completed her 12-month Health Promotion Officer (HPO) course in 2023. While the course itself seemed well-structured, the issues surrounding her exams and results have left her deeply disappointed and frustrated.

My sister, who was dedicated throughout the course, unfortunately did not pass her final exam in 2023. She felt that the way the exam was written didn’t reflect her true capabilities, which was disheartening for her. Despite this setback, she decided to take a proactive step and registered for a rewrite in 2024, which she completed in June.

However, it’s been several months since she wrote the exam, and she has yet to receive any results. This delay in receiving her results has caused significant anxiety and frustration. The lack of communication and clarity from the college regarding the status of her results is unacceptable. I reached out multiple times but has not received any satisfactory updates.

Overall, while the course content may have been worthwhile, the lack of transparency and the delayed feedback process regarding exam results is highly disappointing. It's important for any educational institution to ensure that students feel supported, especially when it comes to something as critical as exam results.
