Ithemba Sky Mark Staff Rude and Callous

<p>My husband is in the High Care unit 4th Floor at the Glynnwood Hospital since Saturday the 20th August with his past record of having a major heart attack 5 month ago Doctors and myself are all worried about his condition. As we all know ICU visting hours are strict and as his wife even I am only allowed to see him at 14h30 till 15h30 every day, not sure what the progress is of my husbands condition my mother in law and son were all at the hospital yesteday at that time to visit my husband, we are also only allowed 2 per bed as stated on the entrance door at the ward...</p> <p> </p> <p>When it was time to go in i told my mom and son to go in and see my husband and I will go in and see if I can see the Doctor to find out the progress and prognosis and where to from here as we are unsure and we never see the Dr at Visiting hour, the attending staff said that they would call the Doctor on his cell and ask him to come see me and while I wait I am allowed to go in to see my husband. I advised them that there are already two visitor in his room and they said it was fine I can wait there till the Doctor comes to see me.</p> <p> </p> <p>The next minute the security guard on duty (BUSISIWE) comes into my husbands room where he was sleeping by the way and starts shouting at me so much that he woke up telling me that I am not allowed and the more I tried to explain to her why I am waiting there the more she was adimant that i leave immediatly - COMMON this is so uncalled for and so Callous and RUDE...I think that your staff should have more sympathy and empathy with the visitors of the patients especially at ICU (High Care) we have enough on our plates as it is I do not need a highly charged up security guard to come and shout at me - She had no business in doing so - WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS!</p> <p> </p> <p>I want her repremanded and I demand an appology to me and my husband!</p>
