WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ā SAFETY WARNING šØ Living in Ithemba Properties has been the most terrifying and unsafe experience of my life. Strangers have attempted to force open my door while I was asleep. I have been subjected to ******** recordings while in the shower, with videos being circulated without my consent. Despite reporting, screaming, and begging for help, absolutely no action has been taken. Tenants are left completely unprotected and vulnerable, with no proper security measures in place. ā This is not just an inconvenience ā it is a violation of basic human rights, privacy, and safety. No one should have to live in constant fear inside their own home. I urge current and potential tenants to be extremely cautious, and I call on authorities and management to take immediate accountability and implement proper safety and security measures. Your safety is NOT guaranteed at Ithemba Properties.
We sincerely apologize for the distress and lack of safety you have experienced. At Ithemba, we take incidents of this nature very seriously, as the safety and well-being of our tenants are of the utmost importance to us.
While we may not have full control over the behavior of all tenants or visitors, we do have internal protocols in place to address such situations promptly and effectively. Our goal is to ensure that anyone who compromises the comfort or safety of our tenants is held accountable ā both through our internal processes and, where necessary, legal channels.
Following your report, we immediately began monitoring the premises to identify any potential suspects. Through this process, we were able to identify the individual involved, who has since been taken into custody by the authorities. We will remain in contact with you to support you throughout the legal proceedings and assist you in any way we can.
We trust that our swift investigation and the resulting actions will bring you some peace of mind. Should you have any further concerns or need additional support, please do not hesitate to reach to your building manager/s with regards to the proceedings of the case.
