Water charge
Unhappy tenant about ithemba property management the way the charge us water. Am staying in 260 marshall and using common bathroom they said we use 30KL and they charged us R511 for each unit am sharing with 2 more units and all the amount R1500 but people who used 143 KL they pay R102 how are they calculating for us n how they calculating for them is not the same mind you we staying in the same building when you query they tell you is the right amount that we supposed to pay and when you ask to calculate for those who used 143KL they don't want to show that they rope us will never refer anyone to this building because they will milk your money

Please be advised that water consumption is metered per cluster of three units within the building. Specifically, the water is metered at the geyser level. Whenever a hot water tap is opened in any of the three connected units, the meter records usage via the geyser.
Following a thorough review, we can confirm that no tenants have been overcharged or undercharged based on the current water consumption data.
Kindly note that fixed utility charges may vary depending on the type of unit. This can affect the overall rental amount from one unit to another.
As per your request, our team has arranged for the hot water supply to be shut off in the two other units that share the geyser with your unit. This should lead to a significant reduction in hot water charges moving forward. However, please be aware that utility billing is done in arrears, and you may still see charges for hot water usage incurred between 15 August 2025 and the date the water supply was shut off in the other units.
