Visitors turned away at a funeral because of not having I. D documents

Had the worst experience, there is a funeral at Metropolitan. And most of the people who can to pay their condolences were turned away due to the fact that they did not have I. D with them. This is a funeral for crying out loud not a party. Please Metropolitan caretaker look into this or else your building will be empty. This law or should i say rule is just nonsensetical and uncalled for
